Merry Christmas, hockey fans.
Monday marks the NHL’s trade deadline, and while there have already been several deals of varying prominence, this year’s deadline is sure to bring some big deals.
Teams looking to improve for a run at the Stanley Cup will be looking for “rentals,” players in the final year of their contract who can provide depth scoring, while teams looking to acquire more and higher draft picks will be selling those rentals.
Whichever category your favorite team falls under, it’s likely to be involved in a deal come Feb.
