Too small — Not athletic enough — Not a strong arm. Those are all phrases that have been used in the past to describe former Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley. Still, despite all the negativity, McSorley went on to have an excellent three-year career as a starter at Penn State and will go down as one of the best all-time quarterbacks in school history.
Now, he has to fight through the negativity again in order to make it to the NFL as a quarterback.
McSorley did receive an invite to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis back in February.
