Penn State announced on Thursday that it will be wearing a uniform made up of parts of its history when it faces Indiana at the end of September.
A grey face mask, striped sox, white cleats, white pants with a blue stripe down the side, and numbers on the helmets are just a few of the things that used to be on Lions jerseys of yesteryear that will be combined into one look to create a "retro" jersey. It was made in consultation with NIKE.
"I think every thing that we've done in our history, kind of is here," head coach James Franklin said.
