Missouri defensive end Nate Howard was arrested by the MU Police Department on Monday night for failing to appear for a speeding ticket in Montgomery County, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Department. He was released after paying $121 to post bail.

The booking is Howard's second of the summer, and he is currently suspended indefinitely from the football team. He was arrested in June for suspicion of drug possession and is awaiting trial on Aug. 24. He was scheduled to appear Thursday in Montgomery City Circuit Court for the speeding ticket, issued in late March.
