True Freshman Saquon Barkley carried the ball once in his debut at Temple. On Saturday, Barkley exploded for 115 rushing yards on 12 carries, including his first career touchdown.
"It was great. I was really excited to be out there for my first game in Beaver Stadium," Barkley said. "I've been dreaming about this ever since I committed here.
