MMQB - Clear Skies

Following Penn State’s week 1 game against West Virginia, the clouds have parted and the skies have cleared - both literally and figuratively.

The Lions fought their way to a 13-6 lead late in the second half with dark clouds threatening.

With 32 seconds left, and standing on their own 27 yard line, everyone expected a quick kneel and to head to the half before the impending storm hit.

Then, lightning struck.

Drew Allar uncorked a 55 yard pass deep to Omari Evans all the way to the West Virginia 18 yard line (which, to be fair, the refs were likely distracted by the nearing monsoon and missed Evans pushing off).
