Let me start this article by saying I am an exceptionally casual basketball fan. Men, women, NBA, it’s just not my top choice for fandom. This time of year, I’m generally more invested in hockey (and wrestling) than bball.
So with that in mind, I just have to say that my mind is at least a little boggled by the drop off a cliff Penn State basketball went through in January and February of 2025.
Let’s hop in our wayback machine, all the way to January 2nd. Penn State had just fended off Northwestern 84-80, and were sitting 12-2 overall, and 2-1 in conference play.
