A clear difference between Penn State’s 2023 and 2024 rosters is the increase in underclassmen production.
The youthful infusion, headlined by No. 1 recruit Izzy Starck and No. 4 recruit Ava Falduto, has meshed well with the experienced upperclassmen already rostered by the Nittany Lions.
This dynamic has succeeded to the tune of a 12-1 record and the No. 3 ranking in the country.
The veteran presence starts at the captain position. Quinn Menger, Jess Mruzik and Anjelina Starck were named captains for the 2024 season, setting the tone for coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley’s squad.
