The Missouri women's 4x400 meter relay took first place at the John McDonnell Invitational on Saturday in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The team finished in 3 minutes, 40.08 seconds to beat second-place Wisconsin by over three seconds.
Sophomore Gabi Jacobs won the women's shot put event with a personal record, and freshman Emily Stauffer took third. Jacobs also won the women's discus event.
On the men's side, freshman Ja'Mari Ward paced the Tigers with a second place showing in the men's triple jump.
Competition resumes at 10 a.m. Sunday.
