The Missouri quidditch team takes on rival Kansas in a best-of-three series beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday on Stankowski Field. We decided to look back at Missouri’s breakthrough 2016-17 season.
COLUMBIA — David Becker grinned as he flipped the ball underhand to the ref. Becker and his Missouri teammates had accomplished what most Missouri athletes don’t experience anymore. They traveled to Kansas and reclaimed the Border War on Oct. 1, 2016.
Becker doesn’t play quarterback for the football team. He doesn’t make shots for the basketball team or hit home runs for the baseball team.
