COLUMBIA — Incoming Missouri basketball freshman Jeremiah Tilmon was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol, according to an MU Police Department report.
Tilmon was pulled over at 1:42 a.m. on Tiger Avenue south of Hospital Drive for a lane violation, MUPD Maj. Brian Weimer said. Tilmon passed a field sobriety test but was still booked, per the department's "zero-tolerance" policy. Tilmon was processed at MUPD before being released on a summons.
The Missouri basketball program said through a statement that Coach Cuonzo Martin and the team were aware of the incident and are handling it internally.
