Mike McQueary, best known as the former Penn State football player and coach who blew the whistle on Jerry Sandusky's child sex abuse in the football locker room, is being hailed for another good deed, this one involving life and death on a Harrisburg area highway.
According to USA Today, McQueary was among the first to stop and help during a traffic accident last Thursday afternoon on a rainy Route 581 near the Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg exits, coming to the aid of a trapped motorist in a flipped SUV.
As USA Today writes:
He crossed traffic and climbed over a concrete median to help.
