Michigan's top line overpowers Penn State men's hockey

The No. 6 ranked Michigan Wolverines (15-3-4, 6-1-2-1 Big Ten) have 12 NHL prospects on their roster.

Three of them — who also happen to lead the Big Ten in scoring, respectively — combined for 11 points as Kyle Connor, JT Compher, Tyler Motte and the rest of the Wolverines raced into Pegula Ice Arena on Thursday and proved themselves to be arguably the toughest opponent Penn State will face this season.

The No. 15 Nittany Lions fell 7-4 to in front of a sellout, raucous crowd and student section that — for the first 20 minutes — seemed to not understand the concept of silence.
