Madison Square Garden has seen its share of memorable performances.
Penn State and Michigan made sure to put on quite the show for the world’s most famous arena.
The No. 6 Wolverines (16-3-4, 7-1-2-1 Big Ten) scored four goals in the third period en route to a 6-3 win over the No. 15 Nittany Lions (16-7-3, 6-4-0-0) on Saturday night.
The Lions entered the third period with a one-goal lead thanks to a tremendous individual effort by forward Ricky DeRosa.
After Wolverines’ goaltender Steve Racine blocked a Tommy Olczyk shot, DeRosa battled Joseph Cecconi for possession of the rebound.
