Penn State hockey’s losing streak extended to six games with a 10-6 loss to Michigan at Pegula Ice Arena on Saturday night.
First Period
The Nittany Lions got off to a quick start, as Dane Dowiak scored two goals in the first two minutes of regulation. Later in the first, Reese Laubach extended the lead to 3-0 with a power play goal. Michigan answered when William Whitelaw caught goalie Noah Grannan out of position just over a minute later, but Aiden Fink restored the three-goal edge with an unassisted goal of his own.
