Micah Parsons says he'll recommit to Penn State if this happens

PHILADELPHIA -- Matt McGloin stood several yards behind his more high-profile teammates Monday, watching as Eagles quarterbacks Carson Wentz and Nick Foles dropped back to rifle pass after pass during an offseason practice.

Eventually, McGloin got his chance to step in and fling the ball around to backup receivers. But the message is clear: McGloin, a former Penn State signal-caller who helmed the Lions' offense through the program's most tumultuous period, is the third-stringer in Philadelphia, without much opportunity to move up the depth chart.

Wentz, 24, is the Eagles' starter and the face of the franchise.
