Year after year, Penn State and Michigan face off in high-stakes matchups at Pegula Ice Arena.

After a heartbreaking comeback bid fell short last night, Penn State entered Saturday’s contest in dire need to replicate one of its signature victories from the last two season.

The blue and white's attempt to stave off its sixth straight loss was unsuccessful, suffering a 10-6 loss Saturday night and falling to 0-6 in conference play.

The action began immediately for the Nittany Lions, scoring just 43 seconds after the puck drop. Aiden Fink battled for possession along the boards, which set the puck free to Reese Laubach, who shot a wrister at the right pad of freshman goalie Cameron Korpi.
