As the 2024-25 hockey season draws closer, several members of Penn State’s roster have a few dates circled on their calendars for the upcoming campaign.
The blue and white begins its season on the road against Alaska Fairbanks on Oct. 5.
For Penn State, traveling to Fairbanks will be a first for most of its players — a four-hour time difference they’ll have to get acclimated to.
“I’ve never been to Alaska,” sophomore forward Aiden Fink said. “It’s definitely going to be exciting, but it’s going to be a hard trip.”
Fink was the Nittany Lions’ leading scorer in 2023-24, registering 34 points on 15 goals and 19 assists.
