Patrick: He did not play good competition in high school, but I felt like I was watching Khalil Dinkins, who I was very high on as a recruit. Like Dinkins, Burnett is a good athlete that is a very good football player. Defensive end, linebacker, wide receiver, tight end, etc., he’s just an impressive athlete and player that dominated the opposition like you’d expect him to. Unlike Dinkins, Burnett’s home will be at defensive end which I think will prove fruitful. He’s got long arms, good bend, and already does a nice job of defending the run as a defensive end, which you don’t always see at the high school level.
