Patrick: Coleman’s truly one of the freakiest athletes Penn State has recruited in a long time. Elite frame, he looks like an NBA small forward on the field. Checks all of the boxes athletically – springy, explosive, coordinated. Honestly though, I was impressed with his football IQ and instincts for a “project” prospect. Sure, he was *greatly* aided by his physical gifts, but this wasn’t a Brailyn Franklin (shoutout yourself if you remember that name) situation of lining up the best athlete at nose tackle and having him wreak havoc in a non-transferable to the college game way.
