Ryan: The most exciting thing about Dixson is the level of competition he played against in high school. His alma mater, Mater Dei, is considered one of the (if not the) top football programs in the country — and Dixson performed well against the best competition his school faced. He’s super physical, an aggressive — but sound — tackler, and has a long wingspan a la Joey Porter Jr. He’s the type of guy that could play day one if Penn State needed him.
What worries you about Daryus Dixson?
Patrick: It’s less of a worry and more of a question mark, but I didn’t see a whole lot of plays that would dispel concerns about Dixson’s long speed.
