Penn State welcomed defending champions Stanford to Rec Hall on Saturday after a two-week break from action.
The Nittany Lions defeated the Cardinal 321.350-314.450.
The victory over the Cardinal truly was a team effort, as the consistency from each gymnast with their sticks proved enough to take down the defending champions.
“Great job to all of the other guys, and I hope we keep moving forward,” Ian Raubal said.
During the two-week break that the blue and white had after suffering a loss to Ohio State, Matt Underhill competed at the Winter Cup — a two-day event where Underhill secured bronze in the rings event.
