After Peyton Whitted’s foul trouble forced her to exit the game, Penn State could not recover in a rough 89-53 loss to Maryland.
“The five [starters] that are in there — we play well together, so when one’s out, it’s obviously not as much chemistry,” Whitted said.
Before the game, the junior planned to play aggressively and carry that momentum into each quarter.
