Maryland 68, Penn State 64: All Good Streaks Must Come To An End

No Penn State fan would argue that this basketball season has been anything other than a bitter disappointment. Considering how the Nittany Lions were looked like a bonafide NCAA Tournament contender after waxing Purdue back in December, it seemed like Mike Rhoades’ crew would be playing some meaningful basketball in late February/early March as they tried to earn their spot in the Big Dance.

Instead, PSU was reduced to needing a win at home on Senior Day against a ranked Maryland team to keep their faint hopes of finishing in the Top 15 of the Big Ten standings and making it to the conference tournament.
