New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram has been named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for his performance against Buffalo.
Ingram ripped off a season-high 131 yards and a career-best three touchdowns on 18 carries, leading the way for Saints ground game that racked up 298 yards against Buffalo, the third-highest total in franchise history.
The honor is the second consecutive win for a Saints running back. Alvin Kamara was named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week after the win over Tampa Bay.
For the season, Ingram has rushed for 672 yards, a mark that ranks sixth in the NFL, and the seven touchdowns he's scored on the ground are tied for first with Dallas's Ezekiel Elliott and Los Angeles star Todd Gurley.
