There’s a new captain in State College.
Senior defenseman Simon Mack has officially been named captain for the 2024-25 season.

The Ontario, Canada, native becomes the 11th captain in Penn State men’s hockey history, taking the reins from Christian Berger.
“With the amount of leadership in our locker room, it is an absolute honor to be recognized as a captain of this program,” Mack said.
