Missouri golf signee and former Tolton standout Jack Parker shot 71 and 65 in the two rounds of the Gateway Junior PGA Championship on Tuesday and Wednesday to secure his spot in the Junior PGA Championship.
The Gateway tournament was held at The Quarry at Crystal Springs in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Parker finished the tournament 4 under par and tied for first with Zach Shirley.
The Junior PGA will be held July 31-Aug. 3 at The Country Club of St. Albans' Lewis and Clark Course in St. Albans, Missouri.
The recent Tolton graduate won three state championships in high school and will enter his college career on a high note.
