Just two times in Penn State and Purdue’s series history have the two teams both been ranked when they met.
The first of those was in 1997, Joe Tiller’s first season as Purdue’s coach, and Penn State routed the Boilers in a late season game behind a remarkable performance from Curtis Enis.
