The Missouri and Arkansas volleyball teams both entered Sunday's contest at the Hearnes Center needing a quality win to boost their NCAA Tournament résumés. The squads began the day sitting at No. 35 and No. 49, respectively, in the RPI — on the bubble for the field of 64.
The Tigers and Razorbacks came out firing early, splitting the first two sets, but seniors Kira Larson and Alyssa Munlyn were too hot, as the Tigers prevailed 3-1 (25-20, 23-25, 25-18, 25-17).
"I think the one thing we talk about is going game-for-game," Larson said in an interview after the match on the SEC Network.
