One way not to endear yourself to Penn State fans is to poke fun at the head football coach on national TV.
Comedian Keegan Michael Key dedicated a segment of Saturday's ESPN College Gameday to Franklin, poking fun at his attempt to keep Georgia State from making a field goal with 11 seconds to go in the game.
But, as the Allentown Morning Call points out, Key's impression of Franklin was so good that some fans actually thought it was the coach on ESPN.
"That was not me on SportsCenter today," Franklin said after Saturday's game at Iowa.
