Judge tries to get Paterno family lawsuit against NCAA moving

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Moving forward with a schedule in place for the lawsuit filed by the family of former Penn State coach Joe Paterno against the NCAA was among Judge John Leete’s top priorities today.

Judge Leete, a senior judge from Potter County, recommended the parties create and submit a schedule to him in the next 30 days in an effort to move forward and “agree on something.”

“Everyone seems to accuse someone else of something in this case,” the judge said after hearing nearly two hours of arguments in Centre County Common Pleas Court, which included whether or not nearly 2,000 documents should be kept confidential.
