When John Fox brought his first Bears team into Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving night a couple of years ago, they walked out winners with a 5-6 record. The arrow was pointing up, and most folks could see the impact a head coach could make after taking his two previous organizations to Super Bowls.
The Bears have gone just 5-19 since, with help from Sunday's overtime win against the Steelers. That's hardly eased the restlessness of most fans, and there's probably the same feeling in some corners of Halas Hall. Fox has said it often himself since being introduced as the charter franchise's 15th head coach on January 16, 2015: The NFL is a results-based business.
