UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Miles Sanders was a pretty big man on campus when he arrived at Penn State in 2016.
Understandably so, because Sanders had established himself as the nation’s top running back during his senior season at Woodland Hills High School the previous autumn.
But according to Nittany Lions coach James Franklin, whose team will begin spring practice Wednesday, Sanders is a considerably larger man today.
Nearly 30 pounds larger, actually.
“He’s about 224 right now,” Franklin said Tuesday. “I texted his mom last night or two nights ago that her baby looks like a man right now.
