Good news: preseason football camp got underway in Happy Valley today.
Bad news: two Nittany Lion players are serving “interim suspensions”, as Penn State Athletics confirmed that sophomore defensive end Jameial Lyons and redshirt freshman linebacker Kaveion Keys won’t be with the program to start camp.
Jameial Lyons and Kaveion Keys are on interim suspension to deal with a personal matter, and the program will not have any further comment, per a Penn State spokesperson.
Neither player was at practice Wednesday.
