Indiana's opponent for this week has actually been on Tom Allen's mind for months.
That's because Georgia Southern is known to run a triple-option offense, and the IU coach understands how it can challenge a defense.
Allen began preparing his team for the Eagles' offense during spring practice, then revisited his plan of attack during fall camp. So when Indiana takes the field for Saturday's 3:30 p.m. contest at Memorial Stadium, Allen expects the past few months of preparation will pay off.
"We started working in the spring when we knew that we were playing them, just to be able to work on different facets of it that they are going to present," Allen said Monday.
