Today's Penn State football news headlines feature words of praise for quarterback Trace McSorley from Indiana coach Tom Allen and thoughts from current Lions recruits to the 21-19 last-second win at Iowa.
Allen hopped on the national bandwagon and praised the playmaking ability of Saquon Barkley, but he took those remarks to the next level when talking about McSorley, according to the Indianapolis Star. Allen also said the Hoosiers are dealing with a number of injuries in advance of the trip to Beaver Stadium.
"(Barkley is) making runs that are impressive, and he can catch the ball out of the backfield," Allen told the Star.
