Sarcasm aside, tonight’s game at No. 13 Illinois presented an opportunity for the Nittany Lions to steal a game on the road that nobody was giving them a chance in, especially with the oddsmakers having Illinois as a nearly double-digit favorite. For at least the first five-and-a-half minutes, it looked like PSU had perhaps put the loss to Indiana behind them and were going to give the Illini a dogfight, as they led 11-5 in the early going.
