All 10 Penn State wrestlers are still alive and eight are in the semifinals after the first session of the Big Ten Wrestling Championships at the Breslin Student Center in East Lansing, Mich.
Nick Lee, Zain Retherford, Jason Nolf, Vincenzo Joseph, Mark Hall, Bo Nickal and Shakur Rasheed each won both of their afternoon session bouts to set them up for semifinal matchups Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, Carson Kuhn and Corey Keener will both be fighting to stay alive and punch their tickets to the NCAAs in Cleveland.
Lee will kick things off for the Nittany Lions in the semifinals with Illinois’ Mike Carr.
