Wrestling isn't life or death for Zain Retherford.
But the sport has quickly consumed the life of the Benton, Pennsylvania native, who has dominated since he first donned a blue and white singlet.
Retherford is one of the most decorated wrestlers in Penn State history.
He has won the last two national titles at 149 pounds, the Dan Hodge Trophy, which is wrestling’s equivalent to the Heisman Trophy and he captured three NCAA All-American honors in the process.
Still though, Retherford recognizes the magnitude, or lack thereof, of wrestling in the grand scheme of life.
