Penn State’s season opener against Kent State on Saturday was the debut of Joe Moorhead’s offense in Happy Valley. Under Moorhead’s guidance the Nittany Lions’ offense turned in a good, but not great performance. However, I believe there is a lot left in the playbook.
This past offseason, Joe Moorhead’s prolific offense was hyped up at Penn State. The Nittany Lions’ offense struggled immensely the past two seasons. However, the team brought in Moorhead with the hopes of changing that.
Against Kent State on Saturday the Nittany Lions’ offense was better than last season, but did not meet the expectations many fans had.
