How much did Bob Shoop make in his final year as Penn State's defensive coordinator?

Bob Shoop was the fourth-highest paid employee at Penn State in the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2015 and ending June 30, 2016, according to a Right-to-Know Law Report filed by Penn State on May 27.

Penn State upped its commitment to the now former defensive coordinator after he flirted with other programs following the Lions' 2014 season. At the time, Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman reported that a January 2015 extension would pay Shoop "close to $1 million per year" over three years.

The Right-to-Know Law report indicates that Shoop's salary was $844,654 during that fiscal year, and a tax Form 990 filed by the school lists his total reportable compensation from the organization at $1,028,308 with a listing of $42,953 as an estimated amount of other compensation from the organization or related organizations.
