J. J. Eckert sat in the 18th row of Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field at the NFC Championship game, when one of his favorite coaching stories, and one of the Oklahoma Sooners’ wildest success stories, boggled his mind once more.
“Knowing what he looked like 10 years ago going seven-on-seven in practice and running naked boots for touchdowns in games,” Eckert said, “and being able to see him out there playing right tackle for the Eagles in their NFC championship .
