Penn State coach Greg Nye knows the environment his players are going into.
Facing Michigan State this Saturday for the Challenge at Champions in Houston, he knows his team “has confidence”
“We played them once in the fall...and they beat us pretty handedly,” Nye said. “But we’ve won the last two.”
Those last two wins show Nye knows how to get his guys ready to win.
Nye also knows all about the history behind the golf course they’ll be playing on this weekend, saying it “reeks of history”.
“We’re playing at Champions golf club which has hosted the [PGA] tour championship, we’re [also] playing on the Cypress golf course where it was played,” Nye said.
