Luoma led No. 20 Penn State’s offense throughout the team’s sweep over Saint Francis inside Rec Hall on Saturday, tallying 18 kills on .640 hitting, which includes three set-winning kills.
“He’s hitting the ball at a pretty high point right now, whether out of the D or the front-row red,” coach Mark Pavlik said. “It appears to me that his development over the past couple of years, he now realizes he’s got the strength and the heat that he doesn’t have to hit.
