HBO unveiled an official trailer and release date on Friday for its upcoming movie, “Paterno.”
The film, starring Oscar-winning actor Al Pacino as late Penn State football coach Joe Paterno during the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal, will come out on April 7.
The official trailer, which runs two minutes and 15 seconds, comes a month after an initial teaser trailer was released.
In the official trailer, scenes include a conversation between Joe and Sue Paterno, played by Kathy Baker (Picket Fences, The Ranch); Paterno speaking at an event for The Second Mile, with Sandusky looking on; former PennLive staffer Sara Ganim, played by Riley Keough (Mad Max: Fury Road), reporting on the story; and riots in downtown State College.
