“Happy Valley Hoopers” to Face UConn Alumni in Second Round of The Basketball Tournament

For the second year in a row, the Happy Valley Hoopers, a Penn State Alumni-based basketball squad is partaking in The Basketball Tournament (TBT). TBT is a 64-team tournament comprised of teams featuring former college hoops players who are not currently on NBA rosters, with the winning team bringing home a million-dollar check.

Team captain John Harrar has once again assembled a crew comprising of recent PSU hoops names you’re familiar with including Sam Sessoms, Myreon Jones, Qudus Wahab, and Josh Reaves, amongst others. The squad is currently playing in the Pittsburgh region of the bracket, having won their first round contest this past weekend with an 88-77 victory against the DuBois Dream, with Sessoms leading the way scoring-wise with 20 points.
