Grace Tullock earned her first career point as a Nittany Lion today, assisting in Penn State’s first goal of the game against Robert Morris. The game at Pegula Ice Arena was Tullock’s 16th wearing blue and white.
Tullock’s first point was special in another way, though. As a defender, the Burnt Hills, New York, native helped set the tone early against the Colonials, who’ve been shutout the last four games.
“She did a good job killing penalties, and then having a big poke-check and taking away time and space,” coach Jeff Kampersal said.
Despite their shutout win against Robert Morris yesterday, Tullock didn’t play like the Nittany Lions had just scored five unreturned goals.
