After losing offensive line coach Herb Hand to the Auburn Tigers on Monday, Penn State has its new offensive line coach. Former Minnesota Golden Gopher offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Matt Limegrover has been hired by James Franklin to coach Penn State’s offensive line moving forward.
The 47-year-old Pittsburgh native brings an extensive coaching background. The Chicago University grad has spent the past five seasons as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the University of Minnesota. During his time in the Twin Cities, Limegrover oversaw an offense that improved its point per game total each season that he was at the helm.
