The blue and white faithful in Rec Hall exploded with cheers when freshman Alex Frack landed his nearly flawless high bar routine. This energy and electricity gave Penn State the strength it needed to finish strong and defeat the Army Black Nights by a score of 407.600-384.100.
“Honestly that was incredible, it was a great feeling,” Frack said.
The Nittany Lions finished on top in every single event Saturday afternoon with their highest score coming on the floor with a 68.950. Despite the domination in the score column, coach Randy Jepson wasn't satisfied.
“I think the thing that we can walk away with out of this is that we have to focus,” Jepson said.
