After its season came to an end in the NCAA semifinals last week, four Penn State players received All-America honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Sophomore Haleigh Washington earned a first team selection, while senior Megan Courtney and redshirt senior Aiyana Whitney are on the second team. Sophomore Ali Frantti received an AVCA All-America honorable mention distinction.
In addition to the honorable mention team, the AVCA All-America classes are divided into three teams with 14 student-athletes representing each class.
In the 2014-15 season, Frantti earned Second Team All-America. In addition to earning her first All-Big Ten honor this year, Courtney received her first AVCA All-America honor.
